🚴‍♂️ In February a team of our residents competed in the Aotearoa Bike Challenge 🚴‍♀️
Basestation's official result was a grand total of 4,488 kilometres, from 28 riders, and a total of 9,228 points. Competing in the 50 - 199 staff members category, Basestation's team placed 3rd in the BOP and 31st in New Zealand! 🎉
By riding our bikes instead of taking a car, we saved 523kg of carbon. That added to the effort of all the other riders across New Zealand, for a total of 34,001kg of Carbon! WOW!
