Basestation Bytes | Winter 2024

Kia ora koutou,

Thank you for being part of our Basestation community. You have received this email because you are a past or present resident, you have used one of our spaces, signed up to our newsletter via our reception kiosk, or on our website.

We appreciate the contribution you have made to #BasestationLife and we celebrate that in 2024 as we head to towards our 10th birthday.

As this is our first email to our wider community in ten years, we'll take the opportunity to invite you to stay on our mailing list and keep up to date with what is happening at Basestation - we intend to send 'seasonal' newsletters so you won't be bombarded, you'll only get the good stuff. However, if you would prefer not to hear from us, please click on the link at the bottom of the page and there will be no hard feelings :-)

If you would like to know more about Basestation happenings, please read on.

Mā te wā,

Team Basestation

Celebrating International Coworking day with Basestation

Coffee is on us!

On Friday 9th August 2024 Basestation will be taking part in #InternationalCoworkingDay with a very special offer.

Whilst we're all about celebrating coworkers, this day will be dedicated to celebrating the network of coworking spaces all around the world, of which we are proud to be a part of.

So, if you've ever been curious about coworking and how it all works, or about Basestation and what we have to offer, pop into 148 Durham Street between 9am and 11am on Friday 9th August and grab a quick mini tour with Ruth AND enjoy a coffee from Folk.

No strings attached - that's it. Satisfy your curiosity with what happens behind the intriguing glass wall and enjoy (the best coffee in town) on us. No booking required, just rock up.

See you on the Friday 9th August!

Residents Shout Out - Downtown Tauranga

At Basestation, we are always keen to share with the wider community who's coworking with us.

This month we caught up with the Downtown Tauranga team!

Building community - Repair Cafe

Basestation is passionate about building community - especially if it supports sustainability.

For the last few years Basestation has been hosting the Tauranga Repair Cafe. We help sponsor this monthly event by providing access to the Babbage Event Space, which is also home to Tinkd Makerspace.

Sustainability at Basestation

The culture at Basestation has always focused on sustainability, and this has only grown over time as new opportunities and initiatives have developed.

Making it easy for our residents and customers to engage in our efforts is paramount.
