At Basestation, we want to make sure that finding an affordable office space, managing overheads, juggling flexibility, and staying connected to others isn’t a challenge! Coworking offers small businesses the best of both worlds; a professional environment with built-in community, flexibility, and shared resources that make day-to-day operations easier and more cost-effective.

We are fortunate that Basestation attracts people from all over the world. This diversity contributes to the inclusive and vibrant culture we strive to foster in our coworking space.

Basestation was founded by three immigrants and one Kiwi! One of those immigrants was Michael Doerner, who originally hails from Germany. We realised we were well overdue to sit down with Michael and talk about what motivated him and his whānau to relocate to the other side of the world.

With remote working on the rise, more people are looking to join a coworking space so they can connect with others on a regular basis rather than just working from home.
