Sherilyn has been a part of Team Basestation since the early days, so she's seen the growth of the building as well as the community over the years. Sherilyn's desk is located in our hot desk floor and she loves the hustle and bustle of activity that comes from our community.

As our Accountant, Sherilyn ensures that everything is in order, so we caught up with her to ask a few questions to get to know the person behind the numbers.

Hey Sherilyn, what are the three words that best describe you?

Reliable, can do attitude, tenacious.

When you were 10 years old, what job did you want to have when you were older? 

I really wanted to be a Teacher, of course.

What’s the most unique/interesting/odd talent you have? 

Adult colouring-in (it's a thing).

What has been your greatest personal or professional achievement to date? 

Personally my children and professionally my “CRM baby” which I developed with the wonderful TechnologyWise team over 10 years ago.

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? 

Feijoas!

What do you enjoy most about being at Basestation? 

Meeting new residents and seeing their growth as they continue on their journey while at Basestation and beyond.  In over seven years that's been quite a few!

What’s your favourite inspirational quote? 

You do you, Boo.

What would you like to be better at doing? 

Actively listening to people and not interrupting them with questions.

Who do you look up to and why? 

My mum, coz she’s my mum.
