Tell us a bit about Downtown Tauranga does:

Downtown Tauranga is the brand name of Mainstreet Tauranga Inc, a not-for-profit organisation established to represent the business members that make up our city centre.  Across commercial, retail, hospitality and service sectors we have hundreds of passionate business owners, operators and staff who we work with and support to grow our city centre. 

What does your team like about working at Basestation:

Fun, funky environment, everyone is very chatty and friendly and there’s always fruit in the kitchen.

How long have you been at Basestation: 

6 months! We originally started in a single office, but now there are two of us, we’ve moved into a double office.

We are always advocating for businesses in the city centre and love to chat with local members as to how we can support them and will help to promote the city centre. If you have an event happening or an activation in the city centre come see us!

The Downtown Tauranga is made up of the Manager, Genevieve and the Administration & Events Co-ordinator, Amber McNicol. We are a small team with big ambition and a lot of energy!
