If you’ve never visited Basestation, we highly recommend joining us for one of our Open Days! Held on the second Thursday of each month, our Open Days give newcomers a chance to experience coworking at Basestation — completely FREE.

Can’t wait until the next Open Day? No problem. You can visit us anytime during the week — just choose whether you want to stay by the hour or for a full day (we offer both hourly and daily rates). You can either sign up via our website www.basestation.nz or simply pop in. We’re located at 148 Durham Street, and we're open Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.

When you arrive, we’ll give you a quick tour of the space, pointing out the essentials like the kitchen and bathrooms. You’ll also receive a Wi-Fi voucher, and you can choose a desk with an ergonomic chair in our open-plan area — some desks come with screens, some don’t. The choice is yours.

While you're here, help yourself to bottomless tea, coffee, and hot chocolate in our fully equipped kitchen. You’ll also find a fridge for your lunch, a microwave, toaster, sandwich press, and even a fruit bowl.

Prefer a ‘proper’ coffee? You’re in luck — Folk is located right in our reception area, so you can treat yourself to a professional brew anytime!

Bonus perk: If you book a full-day coworking pass, you’ll get two hours of FREE meeting room time, perfect for hosting clients or jumping on a Zoom call in a private space.

Our permanent residents have their own dedicated desks or private offices, so they can leave their work setup in place — including screens, drawers, and other essentials.

Wi-Fi is permanently set up for them, and they receive a fob for 24/7 access, allowing them to work beyond the typical 9–5 schedule.
